2. Museo Correr
No worshipers seek protection under the open cloak of the Madonna who
seems to embrace all of us. Life-size polychrome wood carving by an
anonymous Venetian artist of the XVI century. The sculpture is
positioned above the impressive de Barbari's wood cut of Venice, in
room 32 of the Museo Correr.

is in the heart of Venice, entrance at the west end of Piazza San Marco.
